Create Power BI Layouts Through PowerPoint
Power BI offers good inordinate features available where we may download preset designs in power BI reports ensuring that it can offer a more impressive appearance. We can prepare designs making use of Powerpoint, can convert them into pictures, and insert them in Power BI reports.
Steps for creating Layouts using Powerpoint-
1) Open Powerpoint, select the Design tab and select a theme as per option or requirement.
2) Now we need to insert designs as per the layout requirement, so select the insert tab and click on design choices, and select shapes as per need.
3) After selecting the shape, we can format the inserted form, may fill it with colors.
4) We can provide effects to the shapes by going on the format tab and by clicking on shape results.
5) After inserting designs and including effects, we will have a layout similar to as shown below.
6) Now we can save the layout as an image which then may be used in a Power BI report.
7) After saving the picture, we can insert it in Power BI through the insert image choice available within “Page Background” and utilize it as a layout.
8) Now having set the design because of a background image, we can proceed ahead and create the document as per the requirement.
